Toshiba achieved the invention of Radar in 1942, microwave oven 1959, the colour video phone in 1971, laptop computer in 1986, DVD in 1995 and the failed HD DVD in 2005. Toshiba signed a contract agreement on joint environmental research in October 2007 in working to reduce car pollution and create efficient power systems that has not directly affect the environment.
