HTC Corporation, formerly High Tech Computer Corporation is a manufacturer of mostly Windows Mobile based devices as well as some Google Android devices. Since its inception, HTC has pioneered the smart phone market through partnerships with Microsoft and key mobile operators. Additional strategic partnerships include: Intel, Texas Instruments and Qualcomm; some of the largest mobile operators including Orange, 02, T-Mobile, Vodafone. HTC was founded on May 15, 1997 and today created the world's first Google Andoid mobile device with its Google G1. HTC is the fastest growing technology company, with sales of US$2.2 billion in 2005 - a jump of 102%. HTC has a small software design studio in Seattle USA where it designs its phone's interface.
